I discovered this week that my pump is leaking between the pre-filter assembly and motor housing, I'm assuming motor inlet o-rings or shaft seal. I have attempted to contact Intex since it is still under warranty, but have had no luck in actually talking to a representative or a reply to email. I'm not holding my breath they will get back to me anytime soon.

If it is the shaft seal, is there a direct Hayward or Pentair replacement for the pump that would allow me to plug and play without changing the sand filter tank and the swg? If not, what would be the most cost efficient pump, tank, and swg?

Thanks in advance to the TFP collective.

Have you tried pulling it apart to lube o ring and check everything? You can block off the inlet and return so you can crack it open. If it is still under warranty it must be relatively new - I’d want it fixed or replaced without having to pay for replacement.

I've removed, lubed, and replaced the two o-rings on the inlet side. I've not yet explored further into the motor.

I agree, I want Intex to fix/replace. I just need to find a way to actually have them answer the phone or respond to email. Anyone have any suggestions on that side?
