Intex drain plug alternative?

i have been looking through the couple of little bags i got with my pool. in one bag i found the black hat plugs, and my drain valve. there was not cap in the bag. so i was curious if there was something i could do as an alternative possibly with PVC? here is a pic of what was inside this bag. there was not any other caps in the other bags.

Charles, Look on for the packing list or the parts list to see if they left something out. If you can put your hands on it try looking for it on line. That is just too weird so am thinking their is a missing part. Hopefully they can/will send you what you are missing.

i have not taken the liner out of the package yet. i will see once i take it out. i do not have a packing list. it showed up in the Intex box, by delivery company. only thing i got was a signed copy of the delivery.

What about the list that comes with things like this that lists everything that should be in the box.........part A (2) aka 2 of part A??

Like the others said, I believe the drain plugs are already installed on the liner. On my 16’x48” ultraframe pool there is a rubber plug that goes inside the pool and a screw on plastic cap that goes outside the pool. Both of these are permenantly attached to the liner.

ok thanks. i tried calling Intex, but they wanted my model number and i do not have that. they said it was on the pool liner and the box. well, the box is already been burned, so no help there. the pool liner is still in the package and i do not have enough room in my house to unroll it. hopefully you all are right. i just saw this white thing (the one in the pic above) and though that was the drain. thanks

You can use the white thing pictured above when you’re draining the pool. It screws on to the outside after you remove the cap and protrudes into the pool to hold the inside plug open (without the white thing water pressure tends to close the inside plug). It also has garden hose size threads (the outside drain cap’s threads are larger than a garden hose). So with the white thing you can connect a hose to the drain to direct the water away from the pool as it drains.
