Greetings from Sabula, Iowa! We will be accepting delivery of an Intex 16x32 ABG on Friday. Currently working on leveling the ground. Sand was just delivered. The plan is to bring the high side down to the low side, measuring 18x34 total, then place the 4x8x16 concrete blocks, then fill with sand and add insulation board. I have a couple of questions:
1. I haven't seen any pics with these blocks, but know lots of folks recommend them for this pool. Do we place them with the short or long end against the pad? My inclinations is long end against it, but am worried that 8" isn't enough to allow for the legs to expand out.
2. How do I know exactly where to place the blocks? How far out are the legs of this pool when filled? I guess it would be the length of the straps under the liner. Does anyone have those measurements? I haven't checked the distance between the legs either. Anyone know that?
We just want to be as prepared as possible when it arrives, and something always goes wrong. Doing my best to prevent it before it happens. lol
