What's the best way of connecting the Intex 1.25" flex pipes to rigid PVC? Can't seem to find readily available cheap adapters for this...
Do I have to make my own gasket?
This is an old thread of how to adapt PVC to an Intex pool. Probably not exactly what you're looking for but might offer a nugget of insight to the problem.
I actually have an adapter that connects the end of an Intex hose to a PVC fitting, but it's been so long since I purchased it, I'm not sure where I got it. Not even using it anymore, in fact. Good luck.
The Game 4560 adapter is what you'll need. Check with your local pool store as, surprisingly, a number of them carry it. If you can't get it locally, Amazon has them.
I should add the Intex hose I have is the kind without a nut. It's just a hose with a collar clamp.
The game kit is for threaded connections? View attachment 82675
That's easy. There should be lots of hose barbs at the local hardware/big box store that will attach to that with hose clamps and thread into a PVC female fitting.
