Intelliflo3 VSF 3.0hp with or without touch screen?

Hello. First time question asker.
We are going to buy a new pool pump. We are planning on buying a Pentair IntelliFlo3 3.0 hp. We are not sure if we need to buy one with a touch screen or without. Any one on here have regrets about not buying touchscreen ?

All IntelliFlo3 pumps use an app..

The Relay card has two relays that you can use to control something else.. Like a SWCG or a booster pump or anything controlled by an external voltage or input.

The standard IntelliFlo3 does not have much of a control panel as you just use the app.. You can also get a control panel with an digital display so that you can control things right at the pump or you can still use the app.

There are four different Intelliflo3 versions you can buy or build:

• IntelliFlo3 VSF 3HP- 011075- Controlled by Pentair automation, Pentair POOL App, or optional touchscreen controller. The Intelliflo3 includes pump unions for 1.5", 2", & 2.5" PVC. A special RS-485 cable is not required.
• IntelliFlo3 VSF 3HP w/Relay Board - 011076 - IO Board adds two relays and wireless control of the relays for simple automation
• IntelliFlo3 VSF 3HP with Touchscreen - 011077
• IntelliFlo3 VSF 3HP with Relay Board & Touchscreen - 011078

All the models have WiFi or BlueTooth app programming and control.

If you do not want to be dependent on your phone and app, get a model with an optional touchscreen.

The IO Board gives you two relays on the pump that the pump and app can control.
