My wife decided to stimulate the economy and picked up these 2 chairs today. Ideally we wanted the side table that doubled as an umbrella holder to put in between the chairs, but we discovered the ledge lounger versions of the table are meant to just go around an umbrella that is already setup in a sleeve in the concrete. Is anyone aware of an in-pool table that is sturdy enough to hold an umbrella?

Nice chairs. Are they comfortable to sit in for a long time?

To hold an umbrella you need a wide weighted base. I have yet to see one that can withstand a windy day.

Hope so, I'll let you know in a week or so when the pool gets warmer. In the showroom the chair version was much more comfortable than the standard ledge lounger (plus they were $100 cheaper, so my wallet was more comfortable :) ).

The umbrella is on its way from Costco. We do have umbrella holders in the decking, you can see one in the bottom left of the pic above. I just hope that gives good coverage of at least one of the chairs.

I think I need to design an in pool umbrella holder/table that could actually hold an umbrella. I could make a fortune.

Wow! Those are the exact chairs we have been researching for our ledge. Its really hard to find any pictures/video/reviews of them outside of Ledge Lounger. Can you tell me what you think of them? How do the contours on the back feel? How deep is your ledge shown? We can't find them anywhere here in Austin to go and sit in to try out. Below is our design showing where they will be.
