+1 Regardless of the size socket, it could also be "bayonet" style and just a 1/4 turn counterclockwise. Don't force it.Spa jet nozzles are usually 9/16" and unscrew counter clockwise.

Mine turn out to be 5/8 and unscrewed counter clockwiseTrying to remove spa jets to un clog them. 25 year old pool/spa was built with american products parts.
Put a camera in the hole and can see a hex nut i think is 5/8”. Put a socket on it and i can turn it.
Dont know which way to turn or push it?.
