I would like to replace the Sta-Rite pool heater with the exact same model as the pipes will not need be adjusted much.
Unfortunately, the model number is not visible anymore. Do you know another way to identify the right model ? Thanks !

All you need to know is if this is for Natural gas or Propane. Then you have two BTU options, 200K or 400K.

There could also be a label on the side so the unit that shows you the serial number and other info.

Is the Heater Natural Gas or Propane?

Try and find other labels as suggested above.

If you can't then post pics of the gas line into the heater and measure the outside diameter of the pipes. The specs in the chart below are inside diameters and we can figure out what you are piped for from the OD.

Thank you so much everyone, i have a bit of homework to do but definitely great direction.
It's natural gas by the way.

I want to save good money by installing the sale.one bit is it still a good pool heater or the saving I make on the installation may not be worth it ?

I have measured the diameter of the pipe going in the pool heater and it's 1" and 1/2. I believe based on your document I have the 400. What do you think ?
