Ichlor 30 screen died

Hello everyone, hoping for a hand, I’ve read and read, and read some more but wanted to get opinions. I have an ichlor 30 that was installed May 2019, by my pool company when we changed liners and went to salt. The unit has been ok,at times being a PAin in the arse, others just fine. This week the display screen started acting up. It ran all day and when I came home from work it was reading 100 when I had it set at 55. I tried to adjust it, but the buttons wouldn’t respond at all. When I powered it off and back on after a few minutes, the flow light went green, cell light stayed off (was off at 100 before ) and the salt light did the green/red flicker for about 5minutes before going steady red, then later flashing red. The display screen continues to be off, and no response from the buttons. I pulled the unit apart from piping, fins are clean and flow switch moves when I shake it. I did a water test and there is no chlorine in the pool, and a water test showed 3100 salt.

I’m guessing it’s something with a control board, but before I invest time and money on repairs, do I just go right to pentair, ask for warranty help and cross my fingers that I don’t need to buy a new cell after 2200 hours?
Thanks!

Welcome to the forum!
Well that is no good. Those SWCG's are pretty new so not much has been posted about them. I would try warranty as it should be covered by a minimum 2 year warranty.
I suggest you read ABC's of Pool Water Chemistry.
