I somehow got water into the inflatable cover for my inflatable Intex hot tub.

I washed it down eft it out to dry after wiping it down to clean off some mold and mildew that has been accumulating and instead of having it be ready to go again there is now water sloshing around inside. The valve cover was on the whole time and the only reason it looks deflated now as I was trying to look in there and shake out the water. The problem is that all of those circles you see are walls and each section is not really connected to each other. I know there must be some kind of path because the air goes through when you inflate it. No matter which way I turn or shake it the water wont come out of the outer circle and I cant get it back to the valve to drain it. The green line I drew is an example of the wall between the sections. Valve is the red spot at the top and its on the second circle in.

So what do I do now? If I stick a needle in there will I be able to repair it? I dont want to put it away for the season with water in there because I am sure it will be pretty rancid by next year. Even if I do drain it I am sure some will be left in there and might get moldy.

Any suggestions or do I just need to chuck the whole thing now and get a new one and hope this doesnt happen again?

I would drain it & patch it. You can get a liner patch kit at lowes if you don’t already have one.
This solution worked. Stabbed it with a knife, drained it, put the patch on a few days later. I pumped it up after applying the patch and it stayed inflated for about a week. I figure its working now, deflated it, and packed it up until winter. Good stuff.

This happened to mine all the time, I used to put a straw in the hole and suck out the water. I think it may be condensation inside but maybe it's the valved leaking water in? A little water was ok, made it a bit heavier but after awhile it was problematic.
