With a 13% chance of rain, we got 3.25" in 6 hours overnight. The rain stopped mid morning and our new pool's water level was still rising for 3+ hours after the rain stopped, it filled a total of about 4". I checked the utility pump tube that I installed for ground water and the water level was 4' from the top, after several hours it dropped back down to it's normal level of 8'-9'. The hydrostatic relief valves did their job and let the ground water in instead of pushing up the liner. I pumped water out of the pool, got it back to normal level, now we'll see if water keeps coming in.

Nothing like a real world function test to make sure everything is working properly.
It was a bit nerve wracking because I've never built a pool, and alot of things I did were not necessarily typical. Glad the valves worked, I just checked the water level and it's maintaining. That's a big win!
