Hello! We are getting ready to level the ground for a 33ft round pool. We are only digging until the ground is level and then adding the sand. We will be using a foam cove, I just need to know how many tons of sand I will need to have brought out to me. We are using masonry sand if that makes a difference.
How much sand do I need?

You do want masonry sand. My pool is 24 foot round so it's area is about 452 sq ft. a 33 ft round pool is about 855 sq ft. I needed 4.5 tons, you may need 8.5 tons. That's assuming area is used for calculations.
