How important is a bench seat in the pool?

Hi gang, I am in love with the Leisure Pools Cube design but concerned given no bench seating in the thing. The hidden auto cover and the high water line are amazing to me. Any pool owners care to comment on bench seating and how much or little they use it? I was planning to put some therapy jets on a bench seat for a little mini-spa in the pool itself. Could I put some jets in the wall of the cube and just sorta hang out by them with it heated to get the same effect? I wasn't planning on a separate spa.

Not putting in a bench in the deep end is one of the few regrets i have. We were going to do a cutout/swim out where the ladder is. We said no at first because of our 140 lb dogs and the fears of them puncturing the liner on the swim out/ bench. We would have done our best to keep them away and all, but we knew the dogs would find a way. We finally decided to go for it anyway, but it was too late to change the plans/permits. So we have a ladder. As much as I hate the ladder and it makes me regretful at times, my worst day looking at the ladder is still much better than any day pre pool.

When the day comes for liner replacement, i will add a 2nd set of acrylic stairs there. Best of both worlds. Swim out / step out, AND a bench. And we can have whatever giant dogs we want with no wories about the liner.

If your deep end is such that people cannot stand in it 100% go for a bench or change the depth. But from the webstie it seems that you'll be at 4' 11" depth right? Not having it at this depth would be fine to me. People (mostly adults) will tread water for a short time and move to an area where they can stand. I have a roman end that is a bench and we sit on it all the time. It's nice b/c we have a direct view of the rest of the pool and can easily see the kids (no turning our heads). Swim out in the deep end to cool off then come back to the bench (put drinks on the coping, hehe). I use the deep end all the time b/c of this. That pool you're looking at looks really, really nice. I have grass right up to the coping around 80% of my pool like they show on the website. I love it.
I must say the the jets are simply returns and not like spa jets (at least on my pool). I thought they would be forceful. ( I have 2 in the stairs and 2 in my roman end bench). they are great when the heater is on, nice and warm but not therapeutic at all if they are just returns.

We have numerous benches around the pool. I use them every time I swim/lounge. Kids hangout on them all the time. Highly used aspects of our pool that I would not be without.
