Hot Springs Envoy vs. Grande time to decide!!

So we have narrowed our search for a hot tub/spa down to two Hot Springs models (until people respond to this post.) The Envoy and the Grande. I realize that these two tubs are totally different. I am looking for input from anyone that has either of these two models. We love the dual loungers in the Envoy. We like the expanded capacity of the Grande. We are a family of four but have family and friends over quite often. In a perfect world I would get both and use the Envoy for us and the Grande for when we entertain. Any thoughts or suggestion would be appreciated. If I am missing something please let me know. We are leaning towards the Envoy............maybe.......

You really need to wet test the Envoy. Loungers can either be great or the worst thing to come down the pike. I absolutely wouldn't buy a dual lounger model without a wet test. The right lounger for the right person is a great soak. The wrong person (body wise) or lounger design means you can't get comfortable, or you float up when in it, etc.

I'm curious if you made a decision, and which model you decided on? I went back and forth on these two models myself back when we were shopping a number of years ago, and we ended up going with the Grandee. That was in 2010, and we've had no regrets! The Envoy loungers are nice, but you just end up sacrificing too much room. I also like the entry/exit on the Grandee better, with the top step serving as a great cooldown seat.

We have not made (a unanimous) decision yet!!!!! your observations are spot on. My wife likes the space of the Grande and I love the loungers in the Envoy. Her argument is "you won't lounge the whole time you are in the tub" My argument is "I don't need a 6-7 person hot tub for a family of four" Might have to get his and her tubs!!! So as of right now "we" are leaning towards the Grande.......I know, weird, right?

I agree about the loungers taking up too much defined room- they also drown me as i am short lol 😂.
I like to move around in the tub & often sit in different areas so i can use different jet positions.
I love my husband but I don’t wanna feel squished while soaking. He’s about twice my size so he needs space. I also don’t like molded seating so i opted for a round tub , we wanna be able to stretch out (personal preference I suppose).

I personally like my lounger. I spend one 10 minute cycle in either the captains chair or the neck massage chair and one 10 minute cycle in the lounger 99% of my use.

In response to your "don't need a 6-7 person hot tub for 4 people", well, you might.

I have a 5 person (well it will hold 6 if someone sits on the steps) and it's good with 3 people, with 4, providing I can keep the water in it, should be friendly, 5 you better be friendly. What I found is that 3 adults and a 4 1/2 year old is pushing me to my limits in both room and water level. While I can lower the water level some, that puts it well below where it should be when empty or with one in it.
