So I have a VST Superflow. It has 3 different settings I can program. What is the recommended RPMs to clean the pool but also conserve energy? Since I bought the house a few weeks ago, I haven’t really played with it until today. In fact, I didn’t realize it was a variable speed lol. I’ve got roughly 20,000 gallons. I want to turn the water over once per day. 750 RPMs will not run the Hayward pool cleaner vacuum. 1500 RPM runs it, 3500 RPMs seems like it’s on the higher end of the spectrum and everything works really well and the water is blasting out of all of the returns. I just feel like that’s wasting energy so I’m trying to really dive into this thing and figure out what settings are optimal, I’m thinking 1 hour at 2500 RPM, 1 hour at 1450 RPM and then four hours at 750 RPMs thoughts?

You run the pump for a reason. Turnover of water is a myth. Chemistry keeps the pool water clear and sanitary. The filter gets the stuff that falls in the pool and floats.
If you need the pool cleaner to run all the time, use 1500 rpm. If a lower rpm will still skim the pool, use that and then use the 1500 rpm when you wish to run the cleaner.
Run time each say again is up to you. What is needed for skimming and cleaner?
