Sorry but I've been driving myself nuts for over a week on this. I have a pump that is attached with a metal compression ring, and I noticed a leak at the bottom. First thing I was told to do was replace the o-ring, but for the life of me I can't figure out what it is that I need. Here is a picture of my setup, is this enough to go off of or is more needed?

The corrosion around the mounting flange of the motor, the part the bolts are through, says the leak is a shaft seal. PS-201 seal. You should replace the O ring at the same time.
When tightening the band-clamp, lightly tap the the bottom near each side as you tighten the knob, it allows for the sealplate to be more evenly tightened.
