Help diagnosing pump problem

Hi everyone. Please help me with my problem. See pictures for specs.
It seems as if the pump is overheating and shutting down after a few minutes.
Sometimes (not often) it hums without powering up but will run if I turn on speed 2 and then select speed 1 (which suggests a capacitor issue).
i know some of the tests you want me to do involve it being plumbed in but I now have it on the bench in front of me!
There are two capacitors and a relay where the wiring enters the pump housing. Visually, they look ok.
i can spin the motor using the fan at the dry end and it seems to spin ok.
If I disassemble the wet end to probe further, will I need a seal kit to put it back together? Or shall I take a different approach to finding a solution?
Kindest regards
Clarke

Ok so new capacitors and tester arrived so I ran around like a child with a new toy and results are as follows.
Old 45uf cap = 27
New 45uf cap = 44.1
Old 20uf cap = 8.7
New 20uf cap = 19.4
How the motor ever started I don’t know but I’m hoping this is the cause of the motor overheating and switching itself off.
I won’t be able to install for a few days so update at the weekend.
P.s. is testing via dcV good enough to tell me which is pos/neg terminal on the cap I.e. if it gives me a minus reading on the multimeter then I need to reverse the connections when I hook it up?

Gutted. New capacitors, refill tub, all seems ok. Till the pump overheated and switched off until it cooled down (10mins or so).
Don’t think I can buy the exact model again (8 years old) so may be in for pipework re-alignment too :(
