Hi everyone. Please help me with my problem. See pictures for specs.
It seems as if the pump is overheating and shutting down after a few minutes.
Sometimes (not often) it hums without powering up but will run if I turn on speed 2 and then select speed 1 (which suggests a capacitor issue).
i know some of the tests you want me to do involve it being plumbed in but I now have it on the bench in front of me!
There are two capacitors and a relay where the wiring enters the pump housing. Visually, they look ok.
i can spin the motor using the fan at the dry end and it seems to spin ok.
If I disassemble the wet end to probe further, will I need a seal kit to put it back together? Or shall I take a different approach to finding a solution?
Kindest regards
Clarke
