Heat siphon

Are they still being manufactured? I called and sent an email out to see about parts, and haven't heard back. Haetsiphon.com
I must of had some kind of power surge that took out my Pool Pilot circuit board and the compressor capacitor and contactors. Replaced both but had questions and got no response.

Thanks. I called 3 different day s last week and no response. I even emailed twice. I have an AC guy coming this week to check if the compressor was fried too, and to put gauges on it to check refrigerant. But I may need a new circuit board "the player". I have checked and no-one has one. The AC guy says if the board is shot he may be able to install different controls but has to see it first.

That is one of the problems with buying a HP from a small company who slaps their label on standard components. Even though the big players obsolete their equipment and prats become unavailable also.

The unit was bullet proof for about 10 years and fit my needs. With the cost of a new one no matter what brand it's worth trying to fix. By changing the contractors and capacitor myself at least it runs now. It's just not giving a lot of heat out. Ill see what the AC guy says, he's good and I have a good relationship with him.

Sounds like it is low on refrigerant.
