My inground pool has a Hayward SPX1070E basket and came with a liner that perfectly fits the inside of the basket and is not a "stretchy" fit like the socks that I find at online and local pool stores. After four years, the elastic that wraps over the top edge and holds it in place has stretched enough to not be as effective as it was originally, so I was looking to replace it. Unfortunately, I can't find any references to a replacement for this or even any discussion that would support this type of liner was ever a thing.
Has anyone ever seen this type of liner and/or know where I could get a new one?
The socks seem to limit the space inside the basket and don't seem like they would fit well with the basket's cross bar handle. Does the sock stretch as it fills? Do I need to poke holes for the handle to fit through?
