Just noticed the Pentair Kreepy Krauly cleaner wasn't "kraul"ing around.

Turns out the Hayward 6060 booster pump is not activated.
No humming, motor is not hot to touch, no capacitor to fail.

I replaced the booster motor back in May of 2017.

Is 5 years out in the hot Texas sun operating about 2 hours per day, all I should expect out of one of those motors? Or is there other trouble shooting I should take before ordering a replacement?

This is off of a Aqua Logic panel. All breakers in "On" position

Thanks

So after watching the videos James share, I went out to the board to start testing.
The evening cycle for the filter had already been running for about an hour.

Pushed the Cleaner button and I heard a relay (don't recall hearing that earlier). Walked over, felt vibrations from the booster motor: running. Two positives form earlier today, though I had not done anything yet.

Walked over to the pool and cleaner is running and has been for about 20 minutes now.

We'll see what happens after I let it run awhile, and then tomorrow AM.

But does this provide any clue as to what may have been or is the problem?

Maybe the board was not telling the relay to turn on by sending 24 volts DC to the relay.

Maybe the relay was not responding to the 24 volt DC signal from the board.

Maybe the circuit breaker is going bad.

If the pump does not come on, look to see if the plastic button is moving up when the relay should be active.

Check for 24 VDC at the relay coil.

Check for 240 volts at the breaker, at the relay line terminals and the relay load terminals.

"look to see if the plastic button is moving up when the relay should be active" My original intent this evening when I went to the board to test the booster motor was to see if I could determine which relay controls the booster motor by inspecting the button/small nipple on the bottom of the relay.
Going to do that tomorrow AM, when there's more light.
Then proceed from there.

Thanks
