Has anyone used Amazon’s PoolPure filter cartridges?

hello,

I’ve been thinking to grab an extra set of cartridges for a quick replacement. I do understand that Pleatco is part of Pentair and they’re no longer available on Amazon for less than $200. I came across a brand called ‘PoolPure’, and they’re rated very highly on Amazon. Does anyone use these filter cartridges? How do they compare to the OEM cartridges?

Cartridge replacement quality

I’ve been using a poolpure replacement filter from Amazon for a few months now and I’m not sure the filtration is as good as the unicell I previously used or pleatco. Anyone else have experience with different quality in catridges?

Yeah. I saw that post right after I posted mine. I’m hesitant now. I’ll stick with the OEM. Which I think are made by pleatco but I can’t find a source confirming that.

I have been using them for two weeks, I have had a cloudy pool for two weeks. I took them off to clean them and the water sprays right thru to the middle, like a stream thru the filter. The OEM do not. I am sending them back.
