Great Value cleaning bleach vs concentrated

What is everyone using as far as Walmart brand? Is the cleaning bleach what we need to be using? I have always used the Great Value concentrated bleach in years past but it was 8.25 and now it has changed to 6. Is the cleaning bleach with the green label what I should be using? TIA

You can use their Great Value laundry bleach (regular only), but it's only 6% strength. In their outdoor/pool section they should have some Pool Essentials chlorine which is 10% strength. But either will work. Just get what's the best bargain.

The cleaning bleach is like 6 cents cheaper than the laundry bleach at my local Wal-Mart even though they appear to be the same thing (6%). I switched to the cleaning bleach. I have noticed that my local Wal-Mart stocks some cleaning bleach in the pool area as well as the laundry area, but the laundry area seems to move faster and has fresher stock. Check the date codes on the bottles to determine the manufacturing date. Something like 19 095 is the 95th day of 2019. Some users have found the pool essentials chlorinating liquid to be a better buy; however your mileage may vary. My local Wal-Mart has pool essentials 10% chlorinating liquid but it was manufactured in 2018. I went with the cleaning bleach because my store had some that was very fresh with recent dates.
