Flying ants, how to remove them?

I'm in upstate NY by the way - didn't really have or notice this issue earlier but as of today... I keep finding 3-5 flying ants floating in the pool every 5 minutes. Sometimes I'll know because they bite! Not sure if this is a cyclical thing but how do I get rid of them?

I haven't seen much for flying ant traps... maybe I'm able to use regular ant traps but I already have those around the pool - they've been great as it's pretty much eradicated my ground ant problem.

Any suggestions to remove flying ants? I know they are attracted to the pool and reflection of the sun on the water.

Yes, seasonal in our area as well. At least twice a year. They hit the water and congregate in groups, float to the skimmer, and I clean them out of my skimmer sock. After a couple days it's like they were never there.
