Hi, all.

I am just taking over from the weekly pool service, and this is the result of my first test using the Taylor K-2006. What should I fix first and how? I am running a Jandy Aquapure SWG.

Looks good! All you need to do is increase CYA to 60-80 ppm.

Did you recently drain/refill or is your fill water connected to a softener? Curious about your relatively low CH level.

We've had a bit of rain the past week so I've drained to bring the water level back to the middle of the skimmer.

The autofill water is connected to our home water softener, which uses pottassium.

Okay, I'll start with CYA and see how that goes.

Thanks for the advice!

I just tested the CH of the fill water. It is indeed 0 due to being plumbed through the house with the water softener. The water before the softener has 110 CH.

Your current CH level is about as low as you should allow it to go. Keep an eye on it as splash out and overflow may result in CH levels dropping. You can add calcium chloride, or simply use non softened water for makeup water occasionally.
