I am about to redo the plumbing at my pump and filter and have a question. Can you have a pvc connection line between the outlet lines and the inlet lines, depicted with the blue line below?
I have a pool side connection that will most often be used as an "outlet" to operate a floating fountain. However, on occasion I may desire to reverse the water flow and use it as an "inlet" to operate a suction side Polaris.
I can do this by installing a line between the inlet and outlet sides and using the middle three way valve to control whether the water is being pulled in by the pump or pushed out after the filter. The only issue I see in this scenario is it is possible to have the water only circulating around the inlet and outlet lines and not the pool. If I mistakenly had the outlet lines turned off.
