Emergency - Inground Liner Install, a return gasket on the deep end fell off behind liner during fill. Am I in trouble?

Gasket glue fell off (I hate gorilla glue) and fell behind the liner. Am I in trouble?

Do you have another one? You need a gasket.
Aside from that, Other than you probably noticing where it fell for as long you have that liner it shouldn’t be a problem.

I have plenty, the issue is that it's so tight I can't get the liner out of the track to fit another. Can I put the gasket between the plate and the liner on the outside?

Ideally there should be one behind the liner & one on top. A gasket sandwich.

Ahh I did not know this...my old pool liner only had one behind!, same with skimmer plates. I put two on main drain.

Sometimes there will be a cork one if you buy a new return fitting - it goes behind the liner (between the liner & the wall), the rubber one goes on top (between liner & fitting plate)
