Elastic winter covers

Hello,

Just curious and wanted to get peoples opinion. I need a new winter cover, and I heard that there are winter covers with elastic on the end of the cover. I get a lot of wind in my backyard during the winter. Is this is a real thing? Does anyone have one? If this is a stupid question, then I apologize.

Just can't see how elastic would hold up all winter, most have the cable through the grommets that we use. Then I hang old bleach/chlorine bottles 3/4 filled with water to hold in place, so far it works.

I usually just bungee cord through the grommets, but a family member has been telling me of elastic, and like you, do not understand how that would work or hold up.

I cannot imagine elastic that would hold up better than the cable and winch that covers already have.

I don't have problems with my cover lifting, but if I did, I think I would give the industrial saran wrap stuff a try.

I'm in the "windy city" and I use the saran wrap stuff (ie pool wrap). It worked great!
