Drain clearing bladder wtih flexible PVC?

I have an issue with one of my skimmers having far less suction than the other. The one with less suction is on the equipment side of the pool, so a much shorter run. This leads me to believe that maybe there is a partial blockage. I did take the valve apart at the equipment and the pool guy installed it wrong a while back, which I corrected. Before the flap in the valve would not move to the closed position on both skimmers, so I couldn't isolate them. Now I can. When I close the farther skimmer, the closer one gets more suction as expected, and I can see water movement, which I normally cannot. It is not as much as the other skimmer when both skimmers are open however. All this leads me to think that perhaps a partial blockage. I decided to grab a drain cleaning bladder to connect to the garden hose and see if we can force some junk out, however I realize (well, forgot) that we have flexible PVC which is coupled somewhere in the ground, as it is regular PVC at the equipment. I am not sure if the bladder is safe to use on the flexible PVC or not. Hoping someone with more knowledge on it will know for sure. Google searches have netted no results sadly.

Thats definitely my concern. I wonder if it worth having a plumber or someone get a scope in there. This skimmer is in the shallow end and you see all the Crud piling up. The only other thing I can maybe do is get a Betta SE to skim the surface and hopefully keep it cleaner.

I didn't quite follow your first description, but I assume the two skimmers share a run to the equipment pad? No way to control them individually I assume?
