We have installed a 24' Doughboy Pool 4 years ago. We have a Powerline XPi pump, 1.5HP with an ECO Cartridge Filter. After less than 2 years the pump gave out. It was replaced with the same pump. Now again after 2 years it has gone out. When we plug in the pump it makes a humming noise but does not work. We have opened up the pump and there is no corrosion, it looks brand new. We keep all of our equipment indoors for the winter.
Any ideas as to why it the pump is dying so quickly. I do not want to replace it again to just give out again.
