Dolphin s200 Bluetooth

Does anyone have any experience connecting your Dolphin to the MyDolphin app? For whatever reason, when I load the app on my iPhone or Android it just sits there spinning, looking for the robot cleaner (s200) and eventually says it cannot find it. All I did was plug in the cleaner, turned on the power then loaded my app. Is there anything else I should be doing?

Where do you see that it doesn't work with the MyDolphin app?

My instructions gave me a link to download the app. It definitely supports Bluetooth connectivity.

Nevermind .. just found a support site that stated the s200 doesn't support Bluetooth connectivity. The control unit is a universal unit used for all models.

Scroll down to the Specification section on the link that I posted. Did you get the S200 or the S200i?

Well in my opinion your not missing much. I've got the Active 30i, which does include the MyDolphin App. Frankly I'm not impressed with it and I really don't use it.

Oh, definitely happy with the s200. My pool builder said you can control it with your phone and apparently he was mistaken. Definitely much better pool cleaner than the Polaris I had with my last pool !!

You definitely need the s300/active 30 or s300i/active 30i for Bluetooth. I have the Active 30i and I don't use the app for the navigation because it is kind of hard but I do use the additional features provided by S300i/Active 30i (additional cleaning modes, and different run times, and customizable timer schedules).
