It worked last summer but my Dolphin won’t turn on now (we just opened). We did some trouble shooting and it seems to be the power supply. Power supply alone runs $299. Any suggestions to fix it or a cheaper source for a new power supply?
No cheap sources, Maytronics goes for “engineered failure” so you have to buy the components when then the original one gets bricked … it’s how they make their profit.
I built a replacement supply for my Dolphin. Well "built" is over-stating it. I bought a 150 watt, 30 volt power supply, the proper Amphenol mating connector to the Dolphin, and an AC plug. Details are in my Google Docs document at Maytronics Dolphin Power Supply Replacement . No soldering...
Has anyone tried to build a power supply for their Maytronics? Mine actually works fine I just would rather be able to set my own clean schedule through a smart switch. It’s too bad the normal power supply does not start the cleaning cycle when power is applied, instead you must hit the power...
