Do Shellock pavers need to be sealed?

Hello! My pool renovation is still coming along. Lots of progress yesterday and today with the decking and decking expansion. I have Shellock pavers (see pics), and the main guy selling this has told me that they do not require sealing.

Do you agree? Are there pros and cons? It is a large area so it'll likely be costly if needing sealing, but I guess I rather that than destroy this investment. Please share your thoughts! Thanks!

Also, I asked this question to the lead worker this morning too, and he also said it's not required. But he did say that over time, we may need to add sand to the tile joints if we start to notice them to wobble any.
