DIY Texan Cannot Find Ground Wire on Rebuilt Magnetek Pump ... HELP PLEASE

Pump died. Called local pool guy. He said he couldn't get a new pump/get to us for months. I fix cars and wire outbuildings so I figured "How hard could it be?" Got a rebuilt pump off eBay. Put everything back in place. New (rebuilt) pump is Magnetek. Old dead pump is Pentair. Very obvious where two hot leads (red and black) and ground (green) go on Pentair. Not so with Magnetek. See image. WHERE DOES THE GROUND (GREEN) GO ON MAGNETEK?

Apologies for my ignorance, but staring at this thing for hours has revealed nothing. I should include that a bare ground wire does connect to the exterior of the end cap on the Magnetek. Is that all that's needed?

Welcome to TFP.

I would contact…

They replaced the standard motor data plate that shows the pump data and wiring.

I would wrap the red wire under the screw better.

The bare 8 gauge copper wire connected to the exterior lug is your bonding wire. Bonding is different then grounding and should not be mixed.
