Diy Inline pool Canister

Anyone ever successfully built their own inline leaf canister? I have the hayward w560 and it would be nice if it had larger capacity. I have bought a 90mil 4.25 bucket with gamma seal, uniseals on each end that works great until the pool pump starts sucking in the sides of the bucket. If i could just find a thicker walled container with air tight lid I would be in business. I'm almost tempted to take my hayward to some sort of plastic cutter and have them splice extra walls into it making it larger capacity.

Still interested in this but I did find that the Jacuzzi Large Leaf Canister Pool Cleaning Attachment WP010 is absolutely massive compared to the hayward W560. It might just do the trick.
