DIY graduated cylinder.

I didn’t have a graduated cylinder but I have a vinyl cutter so I went ahead and measured out cups on a gallon chlorine bottle. It just so happens each cup is 1/2”. So I threw it in the cutter and here we are. I need to do some fine tuning on the measurements I think because they aren’t exactly 1/2” due to the line width. For example I had 11 hash marks on the hand measured jug. Only 10 here.

I just eyeball mine, but if I wanted to be precise I think I'd do the same, but use a Sharpie. I'm thrifty that way.

I sharpied my first one. Then I thought, I have a vinyl cutter let’s make it look good!
