Here's the situation. I live in a HOA community in Florida that has a total of 19 acre's of holding ponds/lakes that retain ground water, roadway runoff, homeowner property run off, etc. , one large pond (all smaller ponds flow to here) having 24" exit pipes moving this water elsewhere off property. And I have been volunteered to a sub committee to research purchasing two electric powered pumps that must be single phase 230v. and move a generous amount of water. Gas or diesel is not an option.

The thinking here is to creating more lake capacity prior to these once in a lifetime events that a happened twice in the last two years with 18 plus inches of rain and hopefully help prevent flooding in surrounding roadways and homes.

To this point I have come across only ONE pump that seems to fit that category https://www.absolutewaterpumps.com/...trash-pump-520-gpm-4-10-hp-230-volt-cast-iron.

Any TFP's out there that may be familiar with dewatering pumps, pump suppliers, or dewatering in general, I would appreciate your suggestions and inputs.

Check with your local water treatment authority to see what they use.
While theirs likely will be 3-phase, you can then check with the manufacturers to see if they have a suitable single phase option.
