Deck-O-Seal Pricing

Finishing up our new inground install and need to caulk the joint between the travertine and deck. Contractor is telling me this is $10 per foot for new installation. with 150 feet of edge, this is one more significant cost to overcome!

Anybody have recent experience with getting this done?

Why isn't that cost included in the installation? Its part of the whole build if using one contractor.

$10 per sq foot seems to be the going rate for replacing an old expansion joint. Most of the work is in removing the old mastic and preparing the joint. A new install should be much less.

And it should be included in the pool build. Are you using a different contractor for the pool and the deck?
