Cost to replace old mastic?

Can anyone give me a normal cost per foot for someone to come and remove and re-place old mastic? I live in Houston, Texas.

What is a normal cost to have someone come remove and replace mastic? I have a quote for $6/foot to repair and replace. I live in Houston Texas.

That price is not bad. I have heard as much as $10/foot. It is back breaking work to scrape out and properly clean the expansion joint before applying new material.

CHogan- I am in the same boat as you and also located in Houston, TX. I am curious if you had the work done and who you used at that price. I have spoken with MasticMasters here in Houston and it is $550 to $600 for a minimum of 155 linear feet- so that is $3.87 per linear foot. You can also do your driveway and pool with them to reach the 155 linear feet. Please advise if you can on who you used or if anyone else has anyone in Houston that they would recommend. Thank you.
