So, bought this vacuum last year on a crazy whim: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09CGRF39Z/ref=ask_ql_qh_dp_hza

It worked great last summer. I babied it this winter. Went to plug it in and nope. It looked like it charged but then moved 1 inch in the pool and promptly died. I plugged it in and it turns on with blue light. So, I am guessing it's the battery; the battery won't hold a charge anymore. However, support will not respond to me and I don't think the battery can be replaced (I took out some screws and the housing is glued/epoxied together). I can't get at the battery.

I debated waterproofing the plug that goes into the unit and then the plug to an extension cord with some waterproofing tape/putty to see how that worked, but then thought I would ask here first.

-----------------

I need a vacuum beyond the suction vacuum that I have. I have two skimmers and two jets and collect a lot of debris. The suction vacuum is hard to run on this setup.

-----------------

So, what should I get? I'm open to a corded vacuum. I have outside outlets near the pool. I'm not opposed to buying a cord and running one across the pool deck as long as the robot has a swivel cord of some sort.

I'm also open to a robot vacuum with battery, but it has to be changeable and the battery shouldn't cost me $100.

Any recommendations here?

Ah. Yes. I like this one.

I don't want a lot of bells or whistles. In fact, I would prefer something simple. I want something that vacuums without the pool pump involved.

The details say "up to 30 feet". My pool is a keystone 17x41. Do you think that's too big for the e10?

I have been looking at the online recommended pool store here from Trouble Free Pool and have noted that this cleaner will do a 41 foot pool and has a swivel cord. The only annoying thing is that it does not come with the caddy. I have an inquiry in. I looked extensively at Polaris, but have gone back to Maytronics because I cannot find an online supplier.
