Hey everyone, I need help. My electricity bill has been getting ridiculous so I wanted to replace a 280 with a 360 but of course a booster pump is not required for the 360. How do I properly bypass the pump to give the 360 enough power?

That booster pump, if run properly, usually no more than three hours a day, should only cost you $.45/day at your electricity rate. A new 360 will cost at least $450.00 (that's means that it would take three years for you to break even), plus a 3-way valve at +/- $50.00, plus the cost to re-plumb.
You may want to re-think the economics of that change.
^^ What he said. Unless there's some problem with the 280, just run it for a couple of hours a day (ours takes ~1 hour to clean our pool). If these is a problem with it, replace it with another 280 or, better still, a 380.
