Chlorinator Off, No Flow message

I am getting a message that my chlorinator is off. The the flow sensor cable had pulled out, so I ordered a new one and installed it and I am still getting that reading.

The skimmer basket and the pump strainer basket are empty and I recently cleaned the filter.

What should I check next? Thanks -

Can you point me to where I might learn about the proper orientation for the flow switch, As I just screwed it in? It did not come with any instructions.

There should be an arrow on it so it aligns appropriately with the direction of water flow.
