My Jandy Pro Series Pump Motor broke its motor shaft. The existing motor is a Centurion 2 HP motor. I'd like to purchase an in kind replacement that I can swap out but having problems understanding all the pump model numbers. Can someone help? I looks like i can get the replacement motor for under $400. Any tips or cautions for the replacement?

Why does your signature indicate you have a 1hp motor? The motor in the picture is much greater than 1hp.
If you can find a single-speed motor, and really want to use that much energy, be sure to get one that is a 2.6 total horsepower. That's a 2hp motor with a 1.3 service factor. That will match up with the impeller on that pump.
You would be money ahead by converting to a VSP by getting a Nidec Neptune NPTQ270 motor and running the pump longer and slower.

My main pump is 2 HP. I have a feature pump at 1.5 hp. And the traveling filter thing is 1 hp.

I'm a diy guy. I'm hoping to attach the old impeller and bolt on the new motor. Having trouble understanding the model numbers. Looking for the replacement in kind version and not an upgrade.
Do you know which Century motor model number is a RIK?

2hp full rated 56Y frame motor. There's still some out there.
