Change feed tube type on Polaris 360

Hey all, my Polaris 360 hoses keep springing random tears. I cut that section out and a new one shows up 5-6" away. It's the corrugated type hose. Can I switch to the PVC type on the 380 without adding a booster pump or is that a no-go?

The feed pipe on the 380 and 280 is different than that of the 360. Even the 380 also has a different water management system so unless you swapped that out and changed the Wall Fitting as well. Personally, I would recommend changing out that section of hose.
