Can you buy all the basic chemicals at a big box store or do you need to supplement via Leslie's?

Pinch a Penny, HASA or Walmart for liquid chlorine.
Big box/WM for stabilizer.
Big box/Ace/paint store for muriatic acid.

If you have a hasa dealer in the area that’s a great place for fresh & cheaper liquid chlorine in bulk.

I really don’t buy much chems for my pool - salt,cya & liquid chlorine mainly.
My local hardware store has salt & muriatic acid if I need it. (Its taken me 5yrs to use the last 2 gallons
)
I get liquid chlorine at the local mom & pop pool store in 2.5 gal jugs when I need it (usually at startup) or walmart & sometimes dollar general for the hot tub in the winter.
I buy my dichlor for my hot tub from Walmart - 1 container lasts me like 2 years.
Cya on amazon or walmart since they are usually the cheapest.
I buy my test reagents online at tftestkits or from a couple specific amazon sellers.
Every few years I buy some boric acid in bulk from duda diesel either directly or on Amazon.
If I am already going to the ps for liquid chlorine I may get something else while I’m there if I need to like salt.
