Bulb replacement

I presently have a pentair CN-5 lighting fixture housing with a 120V R-40 500W bulb that is working fine and controlled using a WeMo lightswitch. I however want to replace this bulb with something more efficient and with more color options. Can anyone recommend a decent bulb (LED) that I can replace this with? I would love the color changing option and possibly being able to change settings using my phone and/or a remote.

I just replaced mine and bought color changing bulbs from inyopool. You have to turn then off and back on the change the color or pattern but they seem like decent quality and are fairly bright. They seem to hold the last color so I have mine on a timer and they stay blue.
Before these I had 2 I got off amazon that you could change with a remote. you had to stand over each light in order to get it to work and the bulbs would get hot and shut off..Finally died after a year.

Inyopool has one for 180 bucks and I may need to replace the gasket and lens as well. Trying to see if I can get a better deal with the bulb on amazon or if it makes more sense to replace the whole fixture.

I think mine were $99 for 18 watts but brighter then the 35 watt I got off amazon

I am going to pull the trigger on the 35 watt for $179.99 with a new gasket. I am hoping to get at least 5 years from it.

I recently did the same (INYO bulb and new gasket) for my pool and hot tub. No regrets at all. The bulb (PureColors color changing 35w) should NOT be connected to a dimmer switch. This info is buried in the documentation and easy to miss.
