Yes, we got sucked in! I am looking for the material that was put in the filter when the pool was installed. Don’t know where to purchase and don’t want to use sand. Any help out there? Also, do I really need the ionizer?
Their website doesn't provide enough information on the equipment that was included to help. Do you have a list of your equipment (Brand/model)? Did they give you invoice with that listed? Can you take a picture? Pictures of brand/model # will help. All that will help us figure out what to do.
Without going into a lot of detail, you do not need an "ionizer." We do not recommend them. Would like to know what you have before we say no. It may be something other than what we know as ionizers.
BTW, if you DO have an ionizer, it adds metal ions, usually copper, zinc or silver to the water. It's not needed and can potentially cause pool or hair staining.
Just curious as to what you don't like about sand? Its cheaper than the "sand alternatives", has worked well for a bazillion years, and is reliable.
Why buy Zeo or some other glass beads for more, and possibly poorer filtering??
