Bleed valve?

Is it possible not to have a bleed valve? I can't seem to locate one on my Pentair Tagelus TA60D. Searched both this forum and Google for location and nothing is clear. The only reason I ask is I just happen to read the sticker on my sand filter and it instructs to use the bleed valve during operation (of sorts) and I've never done that.

If your multiport is on top of the filter, you probably don't have one. Any trapped air will rise to the top and exit. It's the people with the plumbing on the sides that develop air pockets.

It is on the top. Pool is a year old.
