BESTWAY 5613HE STEEL PRO MAX 14' x 48" (4,024 GAL) - Pump/Filter Recomendations

Hello TFP folks!

Just bought a BESTWAY 5613HE STEEL PRO MAX 14' x 48" (4,024 GAL) and plan to put it on 1" thick foam boards over concrete.

I would like suggestions for a Pump/Filter recommendations:

Would the HAYWARD - W3S210T93S - TOP-MOUNT SAND FILTER AND 1-1/2HP POWER-FLO PUMP be overkill?

Right now I also need to have an electrician install a box as for now planning to use outside plug with extension...same wall outlet also goes to fridge? Would the Pump need its own dedicated outlet?

That pump is probably overkill -- 1 hp should be sufficient.

I have a 3/4 hp motor for a 17,000 gal pool that I run for 6 hrs a day. Crystal clear water. You could go even smaller, 1/2 hp should be more than enough. Curious - How come sand over cartridge filter?
