Best way to lay/trim XPS foam board and best tape?

Hi all,

started the dig last weekend for our 12x30 pool. Almost level and ordered sand but going foam route as leaving pool up and better for the kiddos!

What’s the best way to make a template for the pool?
Best tape to use?
How do I place my 12x12x2” pavers with the 1” foam? Dig down 1” and set pavers it seems so even with foam?

Per HDs square foot calculator I need 6 sheets of the 4x8 foam

Tape sheets together with wide gorilla tape, or if you use regular width, triple tape.

Is this a rectangular pool, replacing the round Intex?

You want to sink your blocks enough so that they will be level with the foam.
