Best way to add for Muriatic Acid if pool is in ground cleaning?

Hello,
I have 31.45% Muriatic acid (liquid), I have read that slowly pouring in front of a return jet is the way to go. The thing is, I have in floor cleaning with pop up randomly blowing the bottom of the pool which means my regular return jet aren't functionning as far as I can tell...

What are my options? I did some acid add last week with agitating the water with a brush and immediately brushing the surrounding area and dump a little at a time but it's a major pain and not really sustainable.

Thank you so much!

Pour the acid in the deep end and then stir the water around using your pool brush.

Acid is heavier than water, and you don't want it pooling on the bottom. So you need circulation to mix it and keep it off the bottom.

It's essentially what I did but it seems like a giant pain, is there a way to temporarily divert the return flow from in ground cleaning to "regular" return jet? Is there any risks in doing so?

Depends on how your IFCS was setup.

Do you have inwall returns?

What valves do you have?

Post pictures of your equipment pad.

Do you have the blueprint of your IFCS design?
